I’m not really concerned that much about the linebacker position for the simple fact the system that fangio plays you really don’t have to be great you just have to be discipline and you must be able to tackle that’s why we have White and baun. I think that smith, Dean if he could stay healthy trotter jr could all be ok and the Ben guy plus the young man hunt. This defense is only gonna work if this team learn very quick to tackle and be able to adapt to what they want

The way Miami's offense played last season under Moore, I think this could possibly be our year

There were reports of Jalen already pushing back against Kellen Moore also. Jalen wants to be QB, OC, and head coach.

Don't get me wrong. I'm happy the offense is going in a different direction, and if what you say is true about Sirriani having very limited control, I don't want to hear one person blame him. Hurts has no more excuses. PERIOD...

You know what pisses me off the most is Nick should.have been fired and this crap wouldnt be an issue now but the root of all our problems are Nick remove him and it goes away but now its to fing late this team drives me nuts. First off…EXCELLENT breakdown of everything. You touched on some thing that never gets mentioned yet it’s so painfully obvious. The beginning of 2021 looked eerily similar to last year…A very vanilla offense, that always strays away from the run. You would even hear rumblings from opposing defenses that they often knew what plays were coming. If you look at Brian Johnson‘s style in college, it looked nothing like the offense being run last year. He was absolutely scapegoat for offensive inadequacies. I think he’s great when it comes to the emotional side, connecting with the players and an environment that allows the players to thrive as a team. He just doesn’t know what positions to put them in logistically to make it happen. I think he has value to offer to the team as a head coach this year, but it does show that there are some pretty significant limits to what he’s able to accomplish without a really solid coaching staff. I think he also needs to check his ego and stop acting like a 12-year-old boy when they win games, yelling at fans and puffing his chest out…. Being extremely cocky during the press conferences. I think his ego had a lot to do with the poor decisions on hiring to first time coordinators. His ego certainly exposed his limitations. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens when one of the coordinators, present or future, shows that they are more capable for the job of head coach. For now, I’m just happy. We have proven and successful professionals at the coordinator positions. I cannot fucking wait for this year!!

Maybe bleacher report is lying to get him to reveal details about what he's been hidin about his real feelings towards sirianni. They want hurts to break down.

Personally I think the eagles are still in damage control from the dougy p firing and they don’t want to fire sirianni because it’ll show that it was a bad decision. Nick should have been fired after the playoff game. It’s pretty clear he is just going to be the eagles head cheerleader.

we had a bad season last year and honestly i feel like a lot of fans are overreacting and looking for someone to blame when it was an all around collapse with an overwhelmed head coach, inexperienced coordinators, a QB with a turnover problem, multiple injuries, a tough schedule, and Superbowl expectations. I believe that it falls on leadership but i feel like a big part of leadership is taking L’s and learning from them and building.

It was a messed up question because Hurts wasn't there when the plays were being put in the playbook. How would Hurts know who put in what? He answered it honestly

Last year was clearly on Nick. We win games despite Nick and that high school offense. They never adjusted and if Jalen went to the coach and suggested a different game plan and Nick ignored his QB, that's a great QB..he saw the problem

I don't see what the issue is because coach's from the Steelers, Baltimore, and a few other teams have the same type of coach why is it such a damn problem that he is just managing the team .wow man I never heard so much BS about a coach. Totally agree that Jeffrey Laurie wanted to save face and not fire Nick in front of the NFL after going to the Super Bowl- bad optics. Jalen has to show he's consistently capable of check downs, and very quick release & reads

We needed a whole overhaul on offense, because last year I accidentally taught my 4 yr old niece the term “another fucking screen” and I mean come on now, I saw CMC call the play before the ball was snappppped liveeeeeeee

The problem with giving Sirianni these soft demotions and trying to hide him is eventually you play teams that are as good as you personnel wise but also have a smart creative head coach that's a big asset. Those are the games you get outcoached and lose. And I couldn't agree more about Hurts, all these weapons and that line but you get your QB beat to hell running him up the middle smh... smart teams try to avoid contact on their QB, we invited contact on Jalen all year, knowing he was banged up, just stupid football.

I just know we went and grab the best OC and DC... Fargio had his hands in the pot on our SB win. Moore, when he was the OC in Dallass kind of scared me because of his play calling. Them girls just didn't execute, with the FA pick ups and the drafts and the replacement of the players we lost. I really really like our team, we gotta let these young Eagles play more. Kellen is too quiet and reserved to be a HC he wont yell and get on guys like Nick does and you cant teach that. Moore needs to just be behind the play sheet

I'm watching last years games. The number of "Bubble Screens" and "Wide Rec. Screens" was STUPID. Then, at the end of the year they sent out Batman to BLOCK on the Wide Rec, Screens! REALLY STUPID.

This offense better take the step we all know they should , should be elite this year and i think it finally will be

If Moore does well and Nick knows his role, and we’re successful, I think the best thing would be to overpay Moore for him to remain as our OC. That method has been working with Stoutland for years.

The play calling and play design was dog 💩 last year. Once the defenses figured out what was going on you got what happened at the end of the season.

I honestly feel we won’t see the best of this team until Nick is gone. Last season he got a taste of having majority of control. If he can’t let that go, we’re going to have a problem.

Like many other Birds fans I was none too happy when they brought back Sirianni as he brings nothing to the table...besides being a cheerleader. If he was competent he would've been able to correct the sputtering offense but week after week it was the same BS. It's rather concerning because I fear he's gonna want to get involved and screw things up.
